Blue Sky just attended the 2018 HRD summit at the ICC, Birmingham. It was a fantastic opportunity to connect with industry leaders and in a technology dominated world, Blue Sky still want to make sure that the human engagement side of a business is at the forefront of people’s minds. Sally delivered a fantastic keynote on ‘Crack the Code – Upgrade your customer experience, one conversation at a time’. The feedback was very positive and the message certainly resonated with the 40 delegates in the room – and has resulted in some immediate follow-up conversations!
There were many great businesses on display – and the food and drink options kept the energy levels high!
The HRD Awards took place on the first night of the event. Our Director of Leadership Guy Bloom was honoured to present the ‘Distinction in Organisational Design and HR Innovation’ to IBM US – and the accompanying entertainment from Josh Widdecombe (along with the wonderful dinner!*) resulted in a terrific night of energetic networking – always helpful when you work for Blue Sky (we don’t do boring evenings).
*Do you notice I have mentioned food twice in this roundup? I promise that the networking was the real reason for my attendance!
